15. Not even close

Hoover wasn't a pea brained psycho with a nuclear arsenal at his disposal and desire to use it.

17. Agreed - Reagan made both Bush presidencies possible.
Thanks to gutting the FCC and the general dumbing-down of the country.

Bush may be doing more damage than Raygun ever hoped to, but Raygun made bush possible.

11. Once upon a time
Edited on Thu Nov-13-03 03:35 PM by FlaGranny
it was a toss up between Nixon and Reagan, with Reagan slightly ahead. Then I saw an interview with Reagan a few days ago, and guess what? Reagan puts our G.W. to shame. He was 100 times more articulate and could actually answer some difficult questions. Also, I don't actually think Reagan was anywhere near as evil as the bushes. So, the answer is * is the very worst president ever. Even though * is actually just a figurehead (like Reagan was), his administration is the worst ever.

Warren G. Harding would be my answer. Closely followed by St. Ronnie of the Rayguns.

23. I had a history teacher who once said it takes 10 years
after a president has gone to pasture to effectively rate their positive or negative impact on a country.

From what I've seen of Dumbyass thus far, I suspect historians who wait to study his full impact will be floored by how lousy he truly was.
