Poll question: My first poll: Crosby, Stills or Nash?
I think we can all agree that Young would win. But of CSN... who is the greatest?

I'm gonna vote for Stephen Stills. Buffalo Springfield... Southern Cross... For What it's Worth...

But then again, Graham Nash is amazing. Cathedral alone puts him in the pantheon.

Crosby? Great voice... impressive sperm-donor.

What do you all think? I saw CSN this year on their tour and they were still very impressive. Graham Nash looked great and sounded the best. Stephen Stills made David Crosby look like a health nut - he's not long for this world. But I have to say Stills is the greatest of the three.

1. Stills
Wasted the most talent of the 3 through the years; he never reached the same heights as he did w/ The Springfield, though the first CSN album was very, very close.

Neil is head and shoulders above them all, though..

2. I agree
entirely.

My vote is for Stills. But Graham Nash has some undeniable talent as a songwriter and a performer. He was the closest CSN or CSNY had to a front-man and he's still an attractive presence on stage.

But we agree that Neil Young is in a different league.

4. Nash was brilliant w/ The Hollies
Still the most underrated band out of the British Invasion IMO; it's amazing how many classic songs they wrote throughout the 60's..

8. Of course they were
I'm curious about what people think about their solo work (or if not solo, their individual contributions to CSN)

10. Young notwithstanding, it has to be Stephen Stills.
A far better guitar player and songwriter than Crosby, his first solo album had some of the best performances of his contemporaries, Hendrix included. His sence for arraingments is astounding. Never afraid to blend musical styles to arrive at something new.

By the way- Stills has a brand new solo album out. Getting good reviews.

11. Crosby, no contest
Gary Stills is a gifted football player

and Rick Nash is a grat young talent himself

but most scouts predict that Sidney Crosby has the potential to be of the calibre of Wayne Gretzky

14. What? No "violent, slow death" option?
I'd rather get my shwanz bitten off my a rabid midget than listen to that hippie offal.
