Best band ever

Day after day alone on the hill,
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still,
But nobody wants to know him,
They can see that he's just a fool,
And he never gives an answer,
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning around.

Well on his way his head in a cloud,
The man of a thousand voices talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him,
Or the sound he appears to make,
And he never seems to notice,
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning around.

And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do.
And he never shows his feelings,
But the fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning around.

He never listens to them,
He knows that they are the fools
They don't like him,
The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning around.

1. I have a personal favorite, MissHoneychurch, but its hard to argue...
...with your statement. They certainly are the icons which everyone else is measured against.

3. everybody has its favorite
not necessary the Beatles but they are just great. You still can listen to their music without getting tired of it. And they are still famous while other bands are just forgotten.

2. When I listen to the recordings of the Beatles and what they did
with four tracks and eight tracks, it blows me away. George Martin's production is nothing short of genius.

4. it was genius.
and I am still sad that John Lennon died so early. He would have made more great music I am sure. He was the best composer of all of them. Paul was nothing against him. Just listen to Imagine.
