1. I'll take Baylor +2,373 please.
Hey - I'm a Texas A&M grad, I have to have SOME enjoyment this year.

Lets see...A&M beats Baylor 73-10. OU beats A&M 77-0. OU wins either 150-10, or 140-0. :D

2. What you don't think OU cam score 338.86 TD's in 60 minutes?
That's 5.65 a minute. IF Stoops leaves the first string in in the fourth quarter.........

4. Proud Baylor Grad Here.

At least we can be pretty sure our coach won't lose a last-second lead by running a play instead of taking a knee.

Of course, basketball season is almost here where we can be proud of....okay, well no.

Baseball starts February 4th!!!!!

Sic'em.

3. LOL.....that's a great picture....
I heard the spread was 53. If I was a gambling man, I think I would jump all over OU giving 53. Once again, I doubt if Jason White will be in after the first half.

I live in OK and am a Sooner grad and fan, and read an article that said White has missed 85 minutes of playing time due to OU bringing in the second team players. I would like to see him win the Heisman and I hope the voters take that into consideration.

GOP...did you happen to read any of the posts on the A&M board about the OU game? Below is one post I thought was great.

Comments from a poster on a Texas A&M board...His thoughts on looking for positives in the game

In light of our loss to OU, I know that there will be a great deal of potbanging, handwringing and negativity. We are all disappointed by the lopsided loss, but we must stay positive. Following are the positive things that I will take from the game and focus on during the next week as we prepare for Missouri.

-We had a relatively balanced offensive attack,
52 yards total, 32 yds passing, 20 rushing.
-Pegram was perfect, no missed FG's or PAT's.
-We were able to hide the fact that Pegram lost
his kicking tee.
-We had no fumbled punts.
-Jacob Young qualified to be listed for NCAA
season punting statistics in only one game.
-Team lost no game balls. We returned home with
same number of footballs as we took.
-No players lost the decals on their helmets.
-Coach Fran was able to leave the game a little
early to visit with friends from Kansas.
-Yell Leaders left game much more comfortable
than usual as no "squeezing" was required.
-Found out that Stoops has mercy since he could
have easily reached 100 points.
-We help keep White's Heisman hopes alive.
-We are finally getting regular mention on ESPN
Sports Center.

These are the initial positive thoughts that come to mind. I am sure that some of you have more. Please share any that you might have as we all need to "come together" during this time of grief.

5. The Las Vegas "wise guys" are actually betting Baylor
Sunday night at the Stardust I saw one of the sharpest guys in town put $3000 on Baylor plus 54. Now it's down to between 52 and 53.

I don't like to give massive points with passing teams. In the second half they often don't score while running the football. Against Missouri, for example, OU blew the spread while managing only 3 points beyond halftime. The old Oklahoma wishbone teams were phenomenal at piling up the points in the second half. I gave 60 vs. Kansas St in the '80s, and collected.

Still, the -27 1/2 points in the first half looks tempting and I'll probably take a bite.

That is a great picture, underpants. It can also depict the number of touchdowns put up by Ken Dorsey as compared to Brock Berlin.

12. 27 1/2 in the first half looks like a lock
The game is in Norman, clear, 60 degrees, going against a team that is near the bottom in both offense and defense.....damn, I would would take that bet. 53 for the game could be a little too much to give, since most of the first team players will most likely be on the sidelines. However, I did read that the Baylor coach was thinking about playing a lot of the underclassmen to get them experience for next year.

Aggie fans...good luck on Saturday.

7. *snarf*
Gotta love our balanced offensive attack. Oh, and cheers for Pegram - another perfect game!

I wonder how bad Texas is going to hand us our ass in a couple weeks. Hell, I think Mizzou is going to stomp us, too.

8. yeah, this has been a rough season.
But at least Jaxson Appel is breaking records. Then again, it's probably not a good thing when your free safety is on pace for 140+ tackles on the season. Plus he's scored more TD's than our starting tailback. But don't get me started on Farmer.

9. I was prepared for a bad season, but not like this.
I figured with all the graduations/departures of good players, especially on defense, combined with the changes in philosphy would lead to a bad season. But 77-0? Of course, we hung a big number on OU back a few years ago when Blake (?) was their coach. Plus, we had the nerve to beat them last year. I guess they were a little miffed.

10. yeah, we pretty much ruined their title hopes last year
and this season was already in the shitter, so in retrospect the 77-0 payback is not that bad, but it still hurts. I just keep telling myself you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. Well, several dozen in this case. I think we'll be solid next year, have a winning record, and make a bowl again. But 2005 is going to be a very fun season. Reggie will be a senior, our defense will be mature, Fran's system will be well-established, etc. I think we can make a run at the Big XII that year. We won't have walkons trying to play linebacker. That doesn't work in this conference.

13. Considering OU's record this year,
I'd say this is a bit off, but maybe the Sooners will beat their 77 - 0 victory last week.
