2. Oh, how adorable!!
I got my Beagle when she was about 8 weeks old - she belonged to a neighbor and had gotten out of the house somehow when he wasn't home. It was freezing cold - January in Vermont - and she climbed up a snowbank and huddled, shivering, in my kitchen window! My daughter found her, brought her into my room and said, "what do you want me to do with THIS?" (my daughter wasn't much of a dog person).

I said, "Give it to me!" and that was it. When the neighbor got home, I talked him into giving her to me. I still miss her...

5. Ah, you saw my other post
I love all my animals so much and Taddy (the Beagle) was a sweetie but not in a league with Dix. Dixie was my partner, companion, best friend, psychologist all rolled into one.
