You know what's really pissing me off about my college campus?

Republicans (and Democrats, to a certain extent).

Let me explain...

My college campus is about 75-80% liberal. Anyways, in the last year or so, Republicans have decided that they want their pitiful voices heard. Now, all I see when I enter the student centre is Republicans with their little tables asking for support (which they get little of) on this issue or that issue. There's even now a pro-life group on campus (with about 25 members out of a student body of 2,000 students, but still). What's even worse is that there are no Democrat tables. Why is that? Sure, we have our groups, but no one ever tables.

Another example is a couple weeks ago the Republicans had a table where they showed the "facts" of why New Orleans is in a terrible state right now, blaming the local officials and praising Bush. What's worse is that there were no Democrat tables showing the contrary. :argh:

It pisses me off.

should get your friends together and staff a Dem table. It couldn't hurt. :)

You seem articulate enough to post on DU, what's stopping you from doing the very same thing? Go forward, be the solution.
