I FINALLY did it...I donated to DU

I have used the services of DU since it started, even though I have only recently been posting regularly. I used to download the PDA version of DU and read it on my bus ride to work. When that service was stopped I missed it and forgot all about good ole DU until early this year.

I decided to make a very modest contribution because of all that I get from DU. It is often the only place I go to online now. I go to LBN for news...if it's news that's important to me then it will be there. I am a Lounge lizard because the atmosphere is less serious and after working all day I don't mind reading about Yaks and other goings on in the lives of my fellow evil DUers...

My politics are far to the left of the DLC but I hope that by my being here I can help move the Dems from being pug lite to really representing the mass of Americans who depend upon a paycheck for survival and not family wealth.

So I guess there will be a star next to my name soon and contributing made me feel good!

It probably won't be recieved in time to punch the Shrub in the face, but better late than never!

to DU. I suppose you are not old enough to work and that says a lot for a teenager to donate almost any amount to an online organization.

and I'm not even in the US. (I'm from Turkey) I don't post much, but I like it here. I donated only 10 dollars, but 10$ is 15 million Turkish Liras. So I donated millions to you guys! :)

True, I hang out here enough now that donating feels kind like paying rent -- only DU gives one a lot for just a few dollars.
