1. There was one titled
"How to Live with a Bitch". I wonder if this is the companion book.

2. I have her litter mate - did you know 'Melia' is another word
for 'Demon From Hell'

Three months old - about knee high, guant, looong thin body. Last Monday I got home from work - the six pack of paper towels I had on top of the refrigerator when I left for work in the morning were now shredded and strewn throughout the house. (The only way I can figure she reached them was by climbing up on the stove - of course, that's not a certainty, she climbs like a mountain goat.) And, while I was cleaning that up, she got in the back room, and came out wearing the new furnace filter - literally wearing it. Chewed a hole in the center and was running around with a frame around her neck. Lasted for about thirty seconds, then she realized it was stuck. Cue freedom seeking action: jumping around in the stiff-legged, spring-loaded way of Chihuahuas - Only, she's a 40 pound black lab/Collie mix.

:hi: :hi: Any excuse to talk about one of my pups....:hi: :hi:

3. Charles Bukowski was one ugly mofo.
Edited on Sat Sep-24-05 09:09 PM by tjdee
I often wonder how it is that he had any interest in the subject of love as it is, as he wasn't the most romantic figure.

But then I remember that women care not a whit for looks when they're seeking out a partner. He was a writer, which can be pretty sexy in itself.

More specifically, yes. Love is a dog from hell. I once pontificated on that exact subject on an old blog.

5. That's what it is, LOL. The cover of the book.
But I'm not sure it's your version. This dog doesn't look so scary. I'm not even 100% it's a dog. It's mostly the title and his name.
