1. B+ for creativity
On the plus side, if this suit isn't thrown out, salespeople will not to use pressure tactics anymore. And that is a good thing.

2. When I was shopping for a car

the dealer had me sign a piece of paper attesting to the fact that I would buy a car from him that day.

I didn't. When he pointed out that I had signed the paper, obligating me to buy a car, I pointed out that I had signed the name "Reinhold Messner", a prominent Italian mountain climber, who I am not.

I left, sans car but with a satisfaction that that slimeball had to re-examine his sales tactics.

3. that's great!
Or bring along someone else who *won't* talk to the salesperson. Then you have a huddle, and the buyer comes back with "My husband/wife thinks this is a bad deal."

If you make the objection unrefutable, the sales person will cave.

4. The problem with dishonesty
Is that honesty is a singular entity rubbing and defending against an infinite number of ways to be cheated.

It takes an honest man to live outside the law.
