My vote is for Cash's "Ring of Fire" I like the mariacchi band and quite unusal lyrics for a love song...

Jad Fair is the master of the unsettling love song. Check out "Bluebirds" on the album "The Band Who Would Be King" to understand what I mean.

The one where the protagonist dresses up like a housewife and croons to a Kitchen Machinery in German. Musically it's pretty conventional, besides that instrument/childhood toy shaped like a baton that goes 'guuuraaa' when you invert it. What the heck was that called?
