What I'm gonna read tomorrow at my grandma's rosary.
I wrote it tonight, I'm not sure if I'll even be able to read it at all. But thought I'd post it.

Mary Ann Evans once said “Blessed is the influence of one true, loving human soul on another.”

I believe that describes my grandma very well. We truly were blessed with the love, kindness, and beauty of her soul. Now we will truly be blessed with the unbelievable memories she has left in our heart. Her passing has brought much pain and sorrow to us all because she touched our lives. Her legacy was so strong that losing her hurts so much. No words can suspend the pain we are all feeling; no words can bring her back. But they can let us revisit the wonderful times we had. If we look past the dark, we will see the light grandma brought to all our lives. That light will only continue to glow in the hearts of every person she touched if we rekindle it by remembering how wonderful she was.

I will never forget how in my darkest moments she would lift me up and guide me through. Whether it was school, family trouble, or just life in general; she was always there, with a strong heart. I could always feel comfortable airing out my problems, knowing that she would never pass judgment on my situation. I looked forward to coming home every day and seeing her sitting there in the kitchen, face buried either in a book or her crossword puzzle. I loved sitting with her criticizing President Bush’s policies, seeing that fire in her face every time that man came on the television screen. I loved her joking, her hugs, and her smile. I loved telling her that the Jazz had just won. I loved debating, arguing, and talking with her. I just loved being around her. But what I really loved about her was that she could warm you up on the coldest days and she could bring a smile to your face in the most serious of times. Her soul may have left us Tuesday night, but she will always live on in our hearts. Grandma gave this world close to 78 years of incredible love. Now we must continue her legacy, and make sure future generations can know and feel the love we all felt throughout her life.

Thank you grandma, I will never forget you. We will never forget you.

10. Beautiful, Sean, just beautiful.
You do her memory proud by putting it into words so well.

You'll be able to read it. If you have to break for a few seconds here and there, *everyone* will totally understand. Although your words are stunning, it's important to stand up and honor your grandmother -- you'll be so glad you did, and she would appreciate it, too.

I know what you're going through -- I lost my mom earlier this year. So much of what you wrote applies -- that combined sense of loss and gratitude.

Wishing you all the best during this sad time. Hang in there, Sean.

12. ah. your grandma must have been a very good woman to get this from
a grandson. Grandparents are the only reason you have
parents. God bless you and your family, honey. My
