Why DU *will* reach its goal!!!!

Today is pay day for many of us, and with Dick getting a bit punchy, what better incentive to send in a donation than that frowning chimp behind him, awaiting the same fate?

Between it being payday for some of us, plus being so close to the goal, I think DU will reach its 4th Quarter Goal!

This is just my humble prediction, and I want to add that I think it is great many generous DUers are helping others who understandably can't send in a donation right now because of the economic situation. I know, because I have languished in and out of work over the past 2 years as a result of it. Generosity is a hallmark of a true liberal spirit, and so is tenacity through tough times.

A year from now, my deepest wish is that we are all flooding these boards with celebrations of the Chimp's downfall. DU's work will be far from done, for we have Congress and many statehouses to win back too. Getting Bush out of office, is just the BEGINNING of our task. There is so much work to be done to get our republic back on the good track.

If you can, send in even a few bucks, to keep the activism alive, and make the fight against George Walker Chimpanzee Bush a victory!

.. makes it a bit hard to donate. However, as I've most likely landed myself a job with DHL, I'll be ready for the 1st Quarter of 2004 with a 100$ bill!
