Hotel internet sucks
I have been in three different hotels this week, and this is the only one that doesn't charge for it, buit they have blocked all the good sites ---except this one---No E-Bay, no amazon, no amazons--hehe---lost asomething i bid on a couple days back on ebay --now I am frustrated---

Are there any "chain" hotels with unlimites access, preferably wireless?

3. Dont say that----
Damn--some of the others in my group are at a Best Western I think---I am in a Hampton Inn, that for the cost, it very ok--I give it 4 stars on the Motel Six scale of slothenly hotel stayers--very nice that they made my bed and actually tossed my dirty sox over with the rest of my smelly clothes--got nothing bad to say about the place other than the ethernet. They seemed to have done some good rates for Louisianna residents for the last month from what one woman told me last eve.

I have the fridge and the microwave, and ethernet, but its blocked, and no wireless--and to think I seem to be only a block or two from a huge Halliburton office here----maybe late tonight I sneak closer to the fence to see if I can get wireless...heheh

2. I've had good experiences with Holiday Inn.
Marriott gets the  for overcharging for non-wireless access and provides cables that don't stretch all the way from the desk over to the bed.

4. It's pretty good here at the Budget Motel in Madras, OR
What's not pretty good about central Oregon is that every commercial establishment is bathed in the same sort of commercial disinfectant cleaning product that makes the immediate environment smell worse than a government rentboy's poo-hole.

swag, the man who knows.

10. I believe that Houston is not currently in The Empire
and if the Queen or Mr. Blair were to declare it was, I would find myself emigrating quickly to Australia.

I have been in central Texas for the last year, and for the next few weeks in Houston, and then I may be in Oklahoma City and Knoxville before going home ---Home is just west of Portsmouth in the south--140+ km from London

7. What I hate most are the cheezy consoles so many hotels have with
the keyboard and joystick or whatever, to web surf with the horrible low rez non horizontally synced screen image on the hotel TV. Used 'em if life sustaining or mission essential email could only be sent this way, otherwise any internet cafe in range is infinitely better.

9. Oh nononono
Save me from something like that ---I have my 8 year old Mac Powerbook that has logged a million miles and refuses to quit, and the company I work for (Starts with an X and Ends with an X and makes machines that make copies) got me a compaq today that I may never use, and a Black-Berry that I havent decided if I hate or not (I love my Virgin kyocera phone from the dawn of time)

Tv Based web access would make me check out and look elsewhere. period.
