Does anyone have any personal experience with a 'Raspberry'?
In terms of making jam (or jelly to our American chums).

Specifically the issue of setting, I can't remember which chemical is lacking (I'm thinking pectin) but raspberry jam will not set by itself.

I know that many add it (the chemical which I think may be pectin) in powdered form, and others add some apple or lemon - but my mother's recipe uses none of those (they mess up the flavour) - which results in a very yummy jam, but one which does not set.

3. Yes, some form of pectin
to set things up a bit. Here my wife uses "Sure-Jell".

We have about 12 pints put up, very yummy indeed.
