1. I Saw It In '76
And I'm seeing it again this month. There's also a Mayan exhibit at LACMA at the same time, so we're seeing both.

2. I Saw it the First Week of August in L.A.-Excellent.
LACMA has set-up and handled this exhibit beautifully...I would recommend it highly...grab a ticket and don't forget to pay a little extra for "Audio Guided Tour Walkman" narrated by the great Omar Sharif !
Hope this helps!

3. It's good
but not as good as the one 20+ years ago. Some of the more famous King Tut artifacts are not in the exhibit but there are excellent artifacts from other Egyptian tombs. I would go back again if I lived near the exhibit.

4. My sister and I loved it. My hairdresser was disappointed.
My sister and I saw it together. We both felt it was fantastic. We spent 5 hours in the exhibit.

Of course, we probably are not the average person. She wanted to sketch many of the objects and I am working on my M.A. in Art History.

My hairdresser gave it thumbs down because the famous mask wasn't included and also because there were so many artifact from tombs that weren't Tut's. I guess he just was into the "celebrity factor" of Tut's name.
