he was a seven pound half-grown kitty when Tom and I adopted him; he was a stray with a leg dislocated so bad bone was showing at the joint. He wore a cast for weeks; all I remember is Tom and I went on a vacation to England for a couple weeks and when we returned he had freaking blown up - I accused my coworker who took care of Skittles of feeding him protein shakes. :o
