1. I have a good one.
It's called "Seems Uncertain" by 311. A lot of people hear the name "311" and are immediately turned off, but this song is excellent. It's definitely a peace song, and I think the lyrics are great. The songs appears on their album Evolver, which was released in 2003 I believe. Here are the lyrics:

It seems uncertain, I wish it was forgone.
To know the version that made life go wrong.
Wish I had a clue what rearranged our molecules.
Mostly wondering...
It seems uncertain.

In times of trouble, everyone joins a team.
No one waves a flag for all human beings.
No one's excited unless they are divided.
Someone's going to have to give in...
It seems uncertain.

I'd like to be one of the faithful millions.
But what I see is an excuse for the killing.

Your denomination should be a private thing.
How about a spirit for all human beings?
How could something well-guided turn out to be divisive?
Mostly wondering...
It seems uncertain.

2. "Overcome" by Rx Bandits
We've had enough
We've had enough
We've had enough of the politicians
We've had enough yeah
Of these politician's wars
All we need right now is love
We've had enough of these military scoreboards
What we need right now is love, come on
We've had enough of these politician's wars
All we need right now is love
We've had enough of these military scoreboards
All we need right now is love
We've had enough of these politician's wars
All we need right now is love
We've had enough of these military scoreboards
All we need right now is love

Turn it up
The future is held in the hands
Who right the textbooks
Ignorance is bred when falsified thinking is taught
To the youth instead of
Past mistakes and mind elevation,
Like the graves that manifest destiny has created
So we can build our
Capitalist consumer based economy,
To build, market,
And sell commodities we don't need
But we are trained to believe like celebrity imaging
Well I'm here to take my feelings back and I hope That you will be with me

I can't wait for that day
When I hear us all screaming.
Ahhhhhhhhh,
I can't wait for that day
When I hear us all singing together,
Ooooohhhhhh
I can't wait for that day
When I hear us all screaming.
Ahhhhhhhhh
I can't wait for that day
When I hear us all singing together,
Ahhh,

I can't wait for the day
When I hear us all screaming,
HERE COMES THE REVOLUTION.
When every race color
And creed of militant human beings stand up
With fists together for substance and true meaning
Because right now we got our feet stuck in cement
We're too caught up in
A material status quo punishment
And one thing is for sure
And that's the sun will always set,
Darling you can bet our moon is quite the opposite
So baby take a axe to your makeup kit
Set ablaze the billboards and their advertisements
Love with all your hearts and never forget
How good it feels to be alive
And strive for your desire
Just cause you can't see
Your cage doesn't mean that you are free
When there are laws against nature
But its ok for you to be
Addicted to over the counter prescriptions
And magazines dictate all our human relations

I'm not buying, no I'm not giving in
To a culture that objectifies all of our women
I'm not buying, no I'm not consuming
The apathetic dribble on the news media's chin
I'm not buying, no I'm not giving in
The lies that are sold through textbooks to children
I'm not buying, no I'm not consuming
Cause the positive will
Always overcome the negative right

And we stay inside, its right outside,
We stand in line
We all enjoy the fences to keep it at bay
But I'm not giving in

3. Rape of the World
Rape Of The World-Tracy Chapman

Mother of us all
Place of our birth
How can we stand aside
And watch the rape of the world

This the beginning of the end
This the most heinous of crimes
This the deadliest of sins
The greatest violation of all time

Mother of us all
Place of our birth
We all are witness
To the rape of the world

You've seen her stripped mined
You've heard of bombs exploded underground
You know the sun shines
Hotter than ever before

Mother of us all
Place of our birth
We all are witness
To the rape of the world

Some claim to have crowned her
A queen
With cities of concrete and steel
But there is no glory no honor
In what results
From the rape of the world

Mother of us all
Place of our birth
We all are witness
To the rape of the world

She has been clear-cut
She has been dumped on
She has been poisoned and beaten up
And we have been witness
To the rape of the world

Mother of us all
Place of our birth
How can we stand aside
And watch the rape of the world

If you look you'll see it with your own eyes
If you listen you will hear her cries
If you care you will stand and testify
And stop the rape of the world

Stop the rape of the world
Mother of us all
Mother of us all
Mother of us all
Mother of us all...

5. redemption songs
By bob marley

Old pirates, yes, they rob i;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took i
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the and of the almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.
Wont you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? ooh!
Some say its just a part of it:
Weve got to fulfil de book.

Wont you help to sing
These songs of freedom? -
cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.
---
/guitar break/
---
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our mind.
Wo! have no fear for atomic energy,
cause none of them-a can-a stop-a the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look?
Yes, some say its just a part of it:
Weve got to fulfil de book.
Wont you help to sing
Dese songs of freedom? -
cause all I ever had:
Redemption songs -
All I ever had:
Redemption songs:
These songs of freedom,
Songs of freedom.

"
Our Flag Was Still There
Words & music by John McCutcheon & Barbara Kingsolver
work version 8/2/2002

I can see it so clear
That very first time
At a game with my Dad
I was eight, maybe nine
We all rose to our feet
Before the ballgame could start
We took off our caps
And put our hands to our hearts

First (false) Chorus
It was more than a banner
It was more than a song
I sang ‘cause I believed
I sang ‘cause I belonged
I sang for all those who dreamed
For all those who dared
Who looked to the heights
And our flag was still there

I see it passing on cars
I see it passing for war
I see it passing for patriotism
I have seen it before
I’ve seen it used as a weapon
To brand some as wrong
No one has the right, I will stand up and fight
To say I belong

Chorus
And our flag is still there
For the saints and the sinners
Yes, our flag is still there
For all the losers and winners
For those who still dream
For those who still there
For the scorned and forgotten
Our flag is still there

Lawrence & Lexington
Concord & Kent
Seattle & Selma
We are born of dissent
And on this native ground
Blessed by immigrant blood
In that river of freedom
We’re all washed in the flood Chorus

Bridge
It’s still there
Though we might disagree
If you are brave
In the land of the free
We have weathered so much
We have traveled so far
We are woven together
We are spangled with stars

So as we take off our caps
And as we all rise
Put our hands to our hearts
As we lift up our eyes
We begin with one question
We ask, “Oh, say, can you see?”
Stand and be strong, believe and belong
Be brave and be free Chorus"

9. Check this out.
It's in realaudio format. And it's nothing like the studio version. But the day I was driving along and heard it, I just about crashed.

Bush It! song by Darryl Cherney
http://indybay.org/uploads/bushit2200-56k.ram

A)(G)(A) First they went and stole the election
(B) The Supreme Court went and made the selection
(D) The corporations gave the direction
They said (A) "Bush it" (G) (A)

(A) He went and hired his daddy's staff
(B) And few guys from Nixon's just for a laugh
(D) Now the world is his oyster to split in half
(A) Bush it (G) (A)

(A) Now though he'd never been to a foreign land
And a (B) map of the world he'd never understand
(D) Right up his back went the puppeteer's hand
(A) Bush it

(D) Bush it--the old President's son
(B) Bush it--that's the way it's done
(D) Bush it--for all of your friends
(E) Who knows where this whole thing's gonna (A) end (G)(A)

Then someone goes and topples the towers
Took years to build destroyed it in hours
The FBI and CIA said give us more powers
Bush it

Then the puppeteer says hey I got a plan
Though the guys were all Saudis lets bomb Afganistan
Then camp out with our friends in Pakistan
Bush it

But that wasn't the end to these tragic attacks
Some used the U.S. mail to send anthrax
Kinda funny how it went just to Democrats
Bush it

Bush it--The old President's boy
Bush it--He got a brand new toy
Bush it--Down old Texas way
Hey now look at Georgie Junior play

Vice President Cheney meets with Enron of course
On how to manage our oil resource
Give 'em rolling blackouts and a secret task force
We'll Bush it

The Enron goes bankrupt after stealing us blind
But they left a trail of campaign cash behind
But when asked for his records Cheney big time declined
He said Bush it.

Now before 9-1-1 Bush wasn't too bright
Did Osama Bin Laden show him the light?
They're both CIA boys and they know how to fight
They Bush it

Bush it--To the limit and then
Bush it--And Bush it again
Bush it--And make no mistake
There is just so much that we can take

He's got two drunken daughters and a drug addict niece
But that doesn't matter, he'll just call up the police
And say you can keep all the others, but I want their release
Bush it

Now he did booze and coke and he doesn't deny it
But he says that he quit and he's on a new diet
Now he passes out on pretzels--does anyone buy it?
Bush it

Now George is an artist and he's trying to sell it
He's a bit of a devil--doesn't think we can tell it
But it's piled up so high it's hard not to smell it
Bush-it

Bush it--The new President's song
Bush it--You know he can't be wrong
Bush it--Out of the President's way
What more can a real American say?

Bush It! Bush It! Bush It!
