I don't remember exactly how it was said, but close to what I wrote...

It was said by Jennie Churchill, who was Winston's mom.....

She said something like: You can do anything you like as long as you don't do it in the street and scare the horses....

Now, that is good!

There is a trio of books on Jennie Churchill's life...by Ralph G. Martin......I read them long ago, and loved them....I still have them around here someplace...Just found Vol. II...

Jennie was something else, indeed...an American and so on....

The books are probably out of print now, but could still be found in libraries ......
