If you like that, look out for "Bad Girls" - set in a female prison, it's by the same production company as Footballers Wives.

7. It's never done anything for me
although it's one of (if not the) most popular comedies here & (for a British sitcom) is pretty long lasting. Although there's obvious comparisons with "Rosanne", it brings back to mind
a show I watched as a kid called "2.4 Children" that I just adored. It's just started coming out on DVD so I'm going to revisit & hopefully find it just as engaging.
