Where's my Happy Medium Guy?

Okay, so I'm going to share some observations based on recent experiences in the dating game of late.

Keep in mind that I hated dating at 20, so I sure as shit don't like it any more now at 42.

But, here's the kick in the pants: I'm simply looking to hang out/date (maybe some of you can enlighten me as to the different takes on those two words)....maybe get together once during the week but primarily spend time on weekends - though not 24/7. Once in a while even going away for the weekend. DO things....enjoy one another's company. And have LOTS of sex.....:bounce:

Take one day at a time knowing that life can change on a dime....no emotional entanglements....simply enjoying and respecting one another....yet because sex is a huge part of the scenario, monogamy is a requirement for safety reasons.

And I can't find this!!! They either want anonymous sex or they want the love of their life. Hence, my referring to this elusive person as my Happy Medium Guy. *sighs*

Seems the men, in general, in their mid-30s on up are now confused and complicated (as women were in their 20s and 30s....again, just generalizations here), in contrast to me (a woman in her early 40s) knowing exactly what I want, no games, straightforward, easygoing....again, wanting to have LOTS OF SEX.....;)

Seems the men in their 20s are the perfect fit for this scenario, but I can't bring myself to "go there." I do want to hang out and spend time with the person...not simply have sex...so that freaks me out a bit. I take it as a compliment to be referred to as a MILF....but still....yikes.....can't go there.

I love men and women.....(no, I'm not bi)....I mean that I love the beauty in each of us...the goddess energy, the masculine energy. That said, I don't "fault" the older men for being fucked up, for I see that dealing with drama queens for several decades has led them to this point....:eyes: And, the younger women are trying to find themselves and gain their emotional balance while the younger men (again, IN GENERAL....I'm not slamming anyone....these are my observations and they could very well be that. Only mine.) don't care about that and just want to have a good time, hence the confusion and complication encountered with the younger women.

So, what are your thoughts, and what on Earth does it take to have uncomplicated, casual relationships nowadays with tons of sex??? I thought what I was looking for was a guy's dream....didn't think it would be so challenging. Then again, the lake in which I'm fishing is rather small and limited.....:( ......other than the college guys in their 20s.

I'm in Raleigh. Maybe it's a Southeastern US dilemma.....:shrug:

Yoohoooooooo.........any Happy Medium Guys out there or suggestions on how to find one? I'm not looking for THE ONE....just "one". Hell, let's start with a few and narrow it down...... B-)

They're not here in NC (not in any substantial numbers, at least), so where do I have to move to find my Happy Medium Guys?
