5. under SC adoption law,
for the birthparents to change their minds now would take them going to court and proving that we acted coercively. I don't see them doing that anyway - they've been to see Ms Uly and Chris several times in the last week and we all got together yesterday afternoon when I was there for the weekend. They're happy with their decision and planning to have a baby together once they're on their feet.

We're really parents now. :D

He is beautiful. I am so happy for you. And, I love where you said he is the most beautiful baby in the world. Every baby should feel that kind of parental devotion. Every single one.

Oh, and about the sleep thing. Get used to it. I have been a parent for 15 years and they still wake me up.

Just kidding. It is amazing how little sleep a human being can survive on.

Congratulations. I wish nothing but happiness and joy for you and precious baby and the Mrs. Parenthood is truly amazing.

On edit: The oldest triplet is a boy named James Christian and called Chris. It is a great name and our Chris is a wonderful boy...soon to be 5 years old. The fifth birthday will come a lot sooner than you expect!

He's doing well. We thought he was over the methodone withdrawal, but he's still having some irritability and shakiness. Still, he's become a chowhound and visibly changing almost daily. He projectile spit-up all over me today, so it feels a bit more real now...;-) :hi:
