5. How the mighty have fallen.
There was a discussion on one of the sports shows last week where Steve Young was talking about how he knew how Brett Favre feels right now. Young was going on about how SF wouldn't replace key personnel on the team in his last days there and how the same thing can be seen in Titletown. Steve could see the writing on the wall. There's no committment to winning and it's wearing on Favre.
He's lost key players on the team that can't be easily replaced.
