My God! When did GD become such a hate zone?!
Man, I look at GD to see what honest, thoughtful topics are circulating, and all I see is people waving their dicks at each other and preaching the glory of Dean or Kucinich and then plugging their ears and simultaneously waving their dicks.

Which is normally something that would be incredibly impressive, but after having seen it and nothing but it in GD for the last, oh, say, TWO FUCKING MONTHS, it gets a little tiresome.

Please, GD trolls -- put away your dicks and quit being so uptight. God damn.

I am pretty much cool with all the others btw. I dont hate Dean I just disagree with him on some things. Most Dean people I encounter are cool with me being for Kucinich. You're right though Colin all this fighting and stuff. They all have their flaws and their good I just think my guy Kucinich has the best good.

5. How about adding something yourself?
If you don't like the tone there, how about putting in some nuggets of substance that are not likely to incite flame wars (or which may incite a greater variety of flame wars.)

Granted they may sink, but at least their presence may elevate the tone a bit.

I used to be 90% GD and 10% lounge... I am about 100%lounge now. Who needs it, I get it at work.

I'm guessing it had something to do with Dubya getting away with his phony war. We all just turned on each other. Hopefully, folks will eventually figure out that we may not win by hanging together, we certainly will lose if we don't. Somebody with polling powers should start a poll in GD asking "When was the last time you flamed somebody? Within an hour; Within 12 hours; Within 24 hours; Within a week; Within a month; Never." Might make 'em think. Or flame you instead.

It's fine. I had several intense, but very well said, Kerry/Dean debates. I support Kerry, but I don't take it personally when someone says he's a nazi/moron. People take things waaay too personally, I swear.
I've had several good experiences. I recommend people take a break, then dive right back in with a cool head.
