69,900,000 before we get a sequel. Bring your friends, family, and the neighbor's dog to see Serenity!

1. Is the magic number a standard to be met, or is it especially made just
for the benefit of "Serenity" because FOX hates Joss Whedon?

2. From what I read it cost $50 million to make Serenity
Fox had nothing to do with the movie. It was made at Universal. They need to make 20 million in profit to consider a sequel.

3. I recall the figure as being $40 mil budget.
Of course, the rest might be marketing.

Really shitty marketing on this movie.

I've seen it twice and told everyone at work, as well as my siblings, to go see it ASAP.

4. I've been saving my money.
I have to pay for the movie, hire a babysitter, etc.
I hope to see it soon!

5. I don't think it looks very good.
Which is why I won't be going to see it.

7. We are so there
Probably Sunday night (I sit all day at work, and can't bear to go to the movies on a weeknight)
