Poll question: What's going on with the real estate market?

So what do you think is happening? Remember when they said it was all downhill after the tech crash? Real estate more than doubled since then in many places. But will the rise in rates finally cool this market down?

1. not around here

on the gulf coast the destruction in housing inventory seems to have caused quite a boom in undamaged houses, it's a seller's market

ppl need a place to live, interest rates or no interest rates

many will be buying under the fema/sba program for v. low interest anyway, methinks
