Geez, she's 60 years old and using eyeliner like she's starting in the next Brittney Spears video. Even I don't wear that heavy black eyeliner on a day-to-day look (maybe in the evenings if I'm going clubbing).

NOW, when I was younger I might have worn more eyeliner and I'm not saying there is an issue with the using the black eyeliner, but it's just so wrong on her - someone should have told her before she went out and was photographed.

Please note: This isn't a dis on anyone who uses heavy dark eyeliner just a comment on how inappropriate it looks on her

Edit: image didn't work

Anyway, the style was to apply the eyeliner heavy like that. I guess Harriet is stuck in time.

...but as I got older, I laid off the heavy makeup. One day you look in the mirror and it just looks freaky especially for daytime. And it's nothing with who you are or how you think, your skin just changes and doesn't handle the makeup the way it use to

flattering. Thankfully she got rid of that unfortunate mullet!

15. Hell, it looks awful when Tara Reid does it, too.
Ladies: A big raccoon-eye ring around your eyes in kohl-black liner IS NOT FLATTERING. To anybody. Young or old.*

*Except maybe Alice Cooper or the guys from Green Day.

She really let herself go, I think. All the party-girl shit and whatnot. Not to mention that hideous boob job.

Sigh...she used to be hot, once upon a time.

17. I've been making comments on the same thing!
Great minds must think alike. As you get older you should drop the black(unless you have fantastic line-free eyes. Black accentuates all lines). She needs to go for a softer brown-especially in her line of work, not line them all the way around (on top and maybe a bit in the lower corner). She should also go for a softer line and smudge it a bit. And she needs to give up the liquid. A medium to dark brown eyeshadow would work wonders as liner for her. It would make her eyes look so much younger!

Now I can quit being so superficial. I hate noticing shit like this! All I could think of was that I'm thirty and I've given up on black eyeliner (maybe for late-night use in a dark club but that's it).

21. It looks horrible, and makes her eyes look SMALLER
which is probably the opposite of what she thinks it does. Black eyeliner is fine for a young 'en - not a 60 year old woman.

LOL - look at Bush in that pic. Hungover or what?

30. Yes, this is a frivolous topic....
Liner UNDER the eyes is only for the young. After a certain age, we have natural lines there! A gentler color would work better, too.

She should go for good skin condition & subtle colors.

Sometimes, one applies makeup as "war paint"--not simply to improve one's appearance. What was running through her mind?

31. Okay, I have the solution
I'm taking one for the team.

If Ms. Meiers wants to wear a more flattering look, she needs to click on www.bareescentuals.com. Their makeup is mineral-based. Their eyeliner is easy to apply and flattering to all.

Of course, this is my opinion, and I am a satisfied customer. ;-)
