6. They are real photos and not Photoshopped. However they have
been circulating as photos whenever a storm shows up.

7. As a lifelong resident of the upper midwest
as well as somebody who's lived through two tornados, I can tell you with some authority that that is EXACTLY what a wall cloud looks like.

The pic may be doctored, but it's not far from the truth. When we see these around here, we head for our basements.

12. Not entirely
They didn't say that the pictures themselves were fake, just that they weren't pics of Hurricane Katrina, which is what they were being passed off as on the inernet. Iknew immediately when I saw them that they weren't a hurricane, but then I'm a weather geek. They could very well be real because I've seen weather just like that in the midwest.
