A report said Harrison Police got a call at 12:10 a.m. Sunday of a man with blood on him behind the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center Thrift Shop.
Officers responded and talked to Jessie Smith, 21, of Harrison, who said his roommate, Shane Jackson, 25, had attacked him with a knife after Smith talked to him about the Bible, the report said.
The report said Smith had two or three knife wounds to the head and several more on his right arm and hand, which Lt. Joe Gilliam said were likely defensive wounds.
A hospital spokesman said Smith was treated and released Sunday.
Officers went to the apartment the men shared in the 300 block of North Willow and arrested Jackson.
He faces a second-degree domestic battery charge, the report said.
He was released after posting a $2,000 bond
