And if he's lurking I'd like him to know that I quit my job, signed my gubmit check, bought a bunch of cold medicine w/ it to brew a batch of meth, am brewing the batch in my bathtub right now and just told my kid to go play barefoot in traffic while I "test" my product.

It's been one of those days today.

But if you snort enough meth, it'll cheer you up. And, hey, if the rugrat gets runned over Welfare will pick up the medical bills. Also put the little monster in foster care! What an opportunity! You can mess around with all kindsa guys, have 5 or 6 more kids on the taxpayers and abandon them too! Hey, you can even beat 'em once in a while!

Meanwhile, want in on my heroin distribution business? The gubmint don't need to know and we can sample the product! And there ain't no better toy for the kiddywinks than a used syringe.

Yes, I did say hags. We have a very sweet and funny young man at work who has recently come out of the closet. These poor small town girls just don't know what kind of duties they will now have to perform if they decide to be his friend. I feel that it is my duty to teach them all that I know about how to be a great hag.

(I'm a little hurt at the implication that gay boyfriends are high maintainence....I've always seen it the other way round - we have to dress you, pick out the really cute shoes, decorate your home and commiserate about what a useless emotionless slob your straight guy is. That should surely come with a pension plan.)

They have no clue what is expected out of them. First lesson will be attending the theatre. This poor young man and I had a conversation about shows he wants to attend for a half an hour today and not a single girl had any clue what we were talking about. He became extremely excited when he realized that someone else knew the words to Oklahoma(btw-he's the stereotype. Theater major.)
I think the second lesson will be on how to talk about men. They seem to shy away from the subject. They should be revelling in it w/ someone who really understands (better than some of their friends).
And let's talk about how many conversations I've had w/ gay friends about how boyfriends are bad for them.

Being a hag is like a relationship w/o the sex. These girls need to learn that. My longest relationships have been in this capacity. It's a unique level of intimacy. You both support each other through the good and bad times.
I think the best thing about it is that I have a man who supports me and encourages me to be a strong, outrageous woman and to revel in being a woman. Few boyfriends have ever offered quite that level of encouragement. I can sit down and cry or I can laugh outloud and I'm never told that it's inappropriate or that there are worse things that could happen. Once the little girls I work w/ learn that they'll be just fine.

Could be worse. When I was awake all night I used to make posts consisting of "Talk amongst yourselves..." or "Hijack away".
I used to eagerly encourage hijacking my threads to anyone who could.

Think of it as a cocktail party (you've got your cute little black dress on and .... stop it, Khash!).

Conversation ebbs and flows. You start in on one thing and a couple of people start talking amongst each other about something different..... No Big Deal. I was just amused that we hijacked my thread.

It's such a sweet and lovely thing to do. Must involve a lot of work.

I know I bitched and moaned that I got left out a few times..... but it's muchly appreciated.

Quantity is no substitute for quality (look at that Khashka dude as proof!). But being noticed and celebrated.... it's great.
