Synchronicity?
Sometimes things happen to me that are outright scary in terms of their eerieness. This week, another one added to that strange mystique.

I was sitting in Toronto's airport Monday morning waiting for a flight. I was sitting against a wall and suddenly thought of the name "Curtis Hanson" for no reason. Now, I had probably, someplace in my mind, had heard the name, but I don't recall. If there was more to it than that, it was not recorded by me on a conscious level. Turn to Tuesday, back home. Watching TV, and an old episode of "Murder She Wrote" with, among the guest stars for that episode, Geoffrey Lewis. Now, for some reason, my mind always puts Geoffrey Lewis and Clu Gulager into the same picture. They don't really look alike, but perhaps at one time, they were in a show together, and for some reason I associate one with the other. I was wondering to myself if Clu Gulager had died--I had a small crush on him many years ago, and decided to check it out at IMDB. So I looked up Clu and he was still alive. On IMDB, you will find a lot of people using the bulletin boards, so I saw a posting that mentioned they had seen Clu at a screening of a film. So I read the posting. And the poster mentioned that he had seen Clu Gulager at a posting of a CURTIS HANSON movie!!

How odd is that? Anyone ever have similar eerie experiences? I usually keep them to myself because I'm already considered weird enough, not heck, there comes a time when something happens that is just unable to be explained through conventional means.

1. I have those kinds of things happen to me all the time and I love it
when they do because they remind me that we live in a world of Mystery.
There are some things we just can't explain. In other words, there is more to Life than the Mind can understand. And personally, I don't think that's anything to be afraid of, but instead, celebrated.

2. Whenever it happens
to me, I end up humming the Twilight Zone theme!

3. Those and deja vu...
...are the two that I really enjoy experiencing. Those little personal "wha'?" moments.

I used to have monochromatic dreams that were all relating to buildings, houses, structures, etc. Then a few days later I would come across a subject or two of the dreams I'd been having while out and about, and then get to see them in full color. Those were fun while they lasted.

The most recent was talking to my husband about Elizabeth Edwards last week, we were wondering how she was and that neither of us had heard or read anything concerning her. Then later in the day, I come across a thread out here on DU asking about Elizabeth Edwards and if anyone knew how she was.
