14. Another vote for Dali.
Although of those listed I'd have to go with either Goya or Frida Kahlo.

but they're not among my favorites. They only have a few well-known pieces of art between them.

11. Poor Diego
You left off the biggest of the Big 3! He did say his wife was the better artist but why does he get no respect?

I voted for Orozco, anyway. Staying at the Hotel Frances in Guadalajara, just across the street from the Government Palace housing his great mural of Padre Hidalgo, I spent considerable time staring up that staircase to see the rebel priest wielding a sword in flames.

Like the Big 3, I have an affection for Posada. An exhibition of his work was a revelation at the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art in Fort Worth--around 1970?

All you Frida fans (I'm one, too): Check out Leonora Carrington & Remedios Varo. Refugees from Fascism & War, survivors of entanglements with the Surrealists, they did some amazing work in Mexico. (Actually, Carrington may still be alive.)

18. Maybe because he's not Dead yet....
Glad he's still here to illustrate These Times. Around El Dia de los Muertos, the characters in his comic strip, La Cucaracha, appeared as skeletons. It was a fine tribute to the Calavera tradition & Posada, especially.

He also does editorial cartoons.
