I've given up on marriage.
I just want to be someone's MILF now.
Is that such a bad thing?

:P Seriously though? Don't give up.

4. I meet mostly jerks.
I like-nevermind. I think you can figure out what I like. Why not go for it? 3/4 of all American women have been married at least once before they turn 30. I have a better chance of being happy if I go the MILF route.

Sounds like a good plan to me.

I'm just in a strange mood today. My younger brother got married over the weekend and it's making me think.

25. I think I get it.
I'm the oldest of my siblings, the last to marry and have kids. I was viewed "suspiciously." There was always the question, "When are you going to settle down?" Now, 20 years later, seperated. Again, the last to do so. Am I unsettled, now?

28. You don't seem unsettled to me.
But why ask me? I'm also the oldest and the one that they have all given up on. One of those days.
Nothing sets you off faster than seeing wedding pics.

31. And they can't wait to shove them in your face.
There should also be divorce pictures, just to balance the unfounded giddiness.
Nothing settles your ass like years of disagreement over fundamental issues, like child-rearing. I'm enjoying the quiet.

36. They've been shoved in my face all day long.
And the whole"We've given up on you ever getting married" business has been aired ever since Sat.
I don't need marriage to fulfill me but damn I wish they'd quit making me sound like a crone! I was informed this weekend by some well-meaning relatives that maybe if I didn't read so much and didn't speak my mind someone would find me attractive.
I have a fucked up family. I didn't realize that this was the 18th century.

At least I wouldn't get married for the wrong reason.

Only get married if you really and I mean really love the guy (or gal)!

26. Nothing new.
Everything I have is of me looking like a soccer mom w/ a large group of kids in the background. That's why I'm working on becoming a MILF. I need a new look.
When I find my new look, I'll post a pic.(Being 30 is getting to me today. Sorry)

33. You're only 30?!
I'm not sure that's old enough to be considered a MILF....;-)

You are simply a beautiful, wise woman ready to have an uncomplicated relationship with someone who can appreciate you completely.

Perhaps once you experience that freedom, you will feel strong enough to open your heart again....

34. If you have a kid and are in your 30's you can be called
a MILF.
Any mom past their 20's can qualify.

I kinda thought you had to be substantially older than the guy to be considered a MILF....that was always my take.

Thanks for educating me....B-)

38. No problem.
The guys around my area seem to think that anything over 22 is an old maid so there has to be a definition now. Not all of us need to be locked up in the attic and pitied.
Actually, I think my face looks prettier now than it ever did in my teens and my 20's. It looks more mature, more womanly than it used to. It's just a couple of body parts that I would like to steal back from my 20's.

I see by your user name that you are about the same age as I am. Nothing like the ripe ol age of 30 to start freaking you out.

29. Newly-minted MILF here......
:woohoo:

:smoke:

Didn't think I could "go there".....but the guys mid-30s and up are confused and complicated (probably for good reason), while I know exactly what I want (at 42) and know who I am. The younger guys match what I want at this point in my life. Since they are the ones constantly hitting on me, I finally opened up to it....;-)

Hell, it's extremely liberating. I say go for it, if only for a short while....:toast:

They are appealling to me more every single day. Why not?

My mom freaks out when I say that but she'll get over it.

40. It's not permanent for me either.
But I'm not going to act like I did in my twenties. My twenties seemed to be about finding a life partner w/o knowing what I really wanted for myself. I've decided that my thirties will be about myself.
And sex will not be something dirty that I have to hide from everyone. If I enjoy it so what! And I'm realizing that it doesn't have to lead to a permanent relationship (which is what I wanted every single time in my twenties).
