Useless Knowledge?
Edited on Thu Oct-06-05 03:09 PM by Liberalynn
"Here we come on the run with a burger on a bun,
our burgers can't be beat because we fry our own meat
fry, fry, fry, fry, fry
and when we drive away with a tip on our tray
we hope your fine fine fine fine."

Okay this is a bit of useless knowledge stuck in my head from childhood. So I watched too much television I admit it.:P

So does anyone else remember this song and where it came from? answer below

4. Didn't know about
why they were gotten rid of just glad they were.

The amusement park where I live (now closed) used to have pay ones, and that was the worst when you couldn't find a quarter and you really had to go.

7. Not to be a Flintstones Nazi, but...
It's:

"Here we come, on the run with a burger on a bun,
And a dab of coleslaw on the side,
Oh, your taste we will tickle with a cold dill pickel,
And all of our potatoes are french fried, fried, fried,
Our burgers can't be beat, cuz we grind our own meat,
GRIND! GRIND! GRIND! GRIND! GRIND!

(that line is always sung off-camera, and it's emplied the girls do a suggestinve 'grinding' motion)

When you drive away,
A tip upon our tray,
We hope to find, find, find, find, find,
We hoe to find, find, find, find, find!

I have that one on DVD!

11. Oh, I knew it by heart before the DVDs...
I think I have spent more time watching the original Flintstones reruns than anyone else on Earth.

And that's pretty sad.

12. Nobody remembers the reason for the NY subway designations.
There's no "H", "K", "L", "P", "T", "U", "V", "X", or "Z" trains in the alphabetical route system, and nobody can explain why.

Whatever records existed explaining the system have been lost for decades.
