This is a cheer billyskank up thread
I try to maintain a sunny outlook, but, damn, after a while it gets really heavy to carry, and I just have to put it down for a bit. I'll be ok after a rest, but if you feel like cheering me up, this would be a good place to do it.

39. I would say it depends on the voice.
The qualities which one admires in a lovely deep rich baritone are very different from those in a girly-man tenor, or even a wondrous counter-tenor.

Not cheery but just funny in a mean way: I informed one of my well-meaning relatives the other day that I would rather suffer a slow death from syphilis than go out on a date w/ some idiot that she tried to set up for me.

One thing that always cheers me up when I am down is to start thinking about all the things in my life I am GRATEFUL for.
