I seem to be going slightly deaf
in my right ear. It feels as if it is blocked up, like I have a cold. Best case is, it's just swollen inside, in which case it'll sort itself out in due course. Second best case, it's filled up with wax, so I'll have to go and get them syringed. Worst case, it's glue ear, and I'll have to have an op to get the fluid drained.

I've also got continuous tinnitus (sp?) in that ear. :(

1. when are you going to see the doctor?
ear problems suck. As a kid I had an inflammation of the middle ear. Now every time cold wind or cold water is hitting my ear it hurts. Thank goodness for ear-plugs.

Best luck to you

8. Yes indeed
And I know what happened. You typed your message and pressed the "Post Message" button, and got a screen saying that an error occurred. You pressed the back browser button and posted the message again, but despite the error message, the first post had actually work.

It has been doing this to me too, but I have seen this before and nowadays if I get that error message, I always check to see if the post has actually succeeded. Usually it has.

:pals:

9. what?
me too. sucks huh? I am really tired of saying 'what?'

I find it is mostly lower register voices and sounds that I can't hear properly. and if there is a lot of different sounds in one area, I can't filter out a voice easily.

13. I have to turn up the volume when I talk to men, and down when
I talk to women on the phone.

work should be able to get you a volume thingy added to your earpiece if it's really tough for you to hear...
