american censorship in music is insane!!!

latest example. Weezer has a song entitled "we are all on drugs"
sample lyrics:

I get a fuse, a canadian channel, and have seen the video. I just saw on mtv2 , which is american, the exact same video except the song is now called "We are all in love" if you read lips it's obvious what's going on, and the things that happen in the video (accidents) only make sense if you know what the song is really about. What's even weirder, is that mtv put a little bubble on the bottom of the screen to say that "this is an anti drug song"

seriously, :wtf: play the song or don't this bizarre subterfuge is unneccessary and insulting.

My wife spent nearly a full hour trying to convince me the song had been aletered and I refused to believe her. I was adamant that they were singing "We are all in love". She was right. I was wrong. Yuck. Crow does not taste good.
