When you work at home, somehow you are always working!

Even though the kid is home from school, I still had to call in to a meeting, bicker with one boss through e-mail, and keep on writing those blasted reports. :(

but, I am taking the boy to see the new Wallace and Grommit in about a half hour, so that's cool.

and on ANOTHER dreary day! Fourth in a row--the forecast said that it would clear on Saturday. So much for the multi-million weather radars and computer networks.

My old Atmospherics Studies professor was right: Your eye is as accurate (8-12 hrs) as the electronics at the TV station. :freak:

Not to mention that my brothers are off today and could stay up late and drink and party and I couldn't!

15. Technically no -- I'm an IT analyst for the local county
But, I'm an IT analyst at hte county hospital. Its more a damned if you do/ damned if you don't thing for me. Show up to work and I don't get paid. Don't show up and I'll have a bunch of angry neurotic nurses screaming at me tomorrow morning. So, I'm telecommuting into the office. I stay home and make sure those old bitties don't break anything.

I stayed up until 4:00 helping my friend with a very tedious and confusing assignment. By the time I wandered home and went to bed, It was 2 1/2 hours until I had to get up with my kids. Their energy is going to kill me, today.

and I'm Italian! I wanted to go the parade to throw eggs at Antonin Scalia, the grand marshal :puke:

But noooo... here I am dealing with clients asking why their immigration petitions were not done in all of 15 minutes, 'cause that's all it takes. I mean, after all it's not like we don't have anything else to do and really, preparing an immigration petition is such an easy task :sarcasm:
