A special thanks to my new LA DU friends

I just got back home to Seattle, after 10 wonderful days in Southern California. And thanks to Booberdawg (!) we had a wonderful get together on November 7. I just got my pictures back and I will be posting them soon.

It was so amazing to meet such funny, smart and kind people. I'm still in awe of all of you - by how much you do and by how dedicated you are to getting rid of Bush next year.

I will always appreciate your kindness toward me, and I hope to see you all again very soon.

A big hug to each and every one of you - and thanks! :yourock:

I am at the Emillereid's for the night and was just checking the thread for the party last night and caught your post. I sorta got lost last night and had to backtrack and didn't get there till 7:30. Gads - the traffic. :eyes:

So glad I got to meet you! You are just the coolest woman ever!

I envy you being able to stay at the home of Emillereid - I'm sure that was a very mind-blowing experience!

8. It's been a lot of fun for me too

Have met a great bunch of folks out here in SO Cal. It's been a great and fun experience for me to be able to talk to real live liberals/Democrats face to face. I could get used to this. :D

The group last night at Hermosa Beach was smaller and it was very relaxing. Couple more new faces. I'll post some pics when I get back to San Diego to download them.

Emillereid says hi! :hi:

Meeting a couple more people Tuesday. I am so pooped.
