Although after knocking the Yankees out last night and flying across the country twice, I'm really not expecting much out of this game!

And this is coming from a life-long Angels fan, I might add!

13. Probably not... Here's the prediction I have:

Steinbrenner will get rid of Torre and bring Lou in. I'm sure Steinbrenner is so enraged at not getting into the ALCS that he's probably already left broken and battered bodies in his wake, so he might be looking at bringing someone else in.

'Course, I could be completely wrong about this, but makes for interesting speculation.

but it's doubtful; Torre's guaranteed $13 million through 2007 and he's not going to walk away from it.

Piniella has said his only real regret was that he didn't win a World Series as manager of the Yankees—the team that he had his best years as a player for and the team that, yes Yankee haters,he loves the most. He and George are both Tampa-based and they see each other all the time. George loves him like crazy but Lou won't come cheap on top of all the money that Torre is owed.

Then again, George paid Kevin Brown $15 million this year, so maybe a $13 million isn't that much after all...

14. I think it's because of how the runner slid into him, just as he

was going into his throw. It looked like he was higher up in the air than he realized and thus overthrew it.
