It's on Wells between North and Armitage.

It's the kind of place you either like, or you don't.

Lately I've been liking Red Dog and the Lava Lounge (good place for alternative hip-hop). But the music's way loud at both.

8. Hey you know what's a decent pub?

Ginger's Ale House...it's on...I wanna say Ashland. I ended up there for a while on halloween. Pretty far away from the Lincoln Park Trixie crowd (though I live in Lincoln Park).

We have our Dean meetup at Black Rock Inn, that place is decent too. Small little neighborhood pub with a back room.

Corarose, I also recommend the Charleston. It's on Hoyne and Charleston streets in Bucktown.

7. Weeds was still there a month and a half ago.

With bras hanging from the ceiling and all.

Saw a friend do a poetry reading there the first week of October. Cool place.

I rarely go to any bar around that area. But I'm a bar snob, so don't mind me. If anyone else has found the place I hang at, I tend to move on. I hang out at Black Beetle these days. If I want to see music, I go to Empty Bottle.
