Anyone living in a co-op or involved in setting one up?
Why I ask.....

Sigh....

Mr. Politicat and I made a huge mistake and bought a modular house (in a land-lease community) 2 years ago because Boulder housing prices are ridiculous and we have 3 cats which makes renting impossible.

This community has the worst management of any rental community I have ever lived in and some of the other smart and well paid but not that well paid residents have started thinking about waht it would take to buy out the owner and turn this place into a co-op.

Kind of in the "hm, is this feasible?" stages right now, so I'm asking what others in co-ops think of them and if this is even an idea to consider or should Mr. Politicat and I and the others pursue plan B which is get the hell out?

Politicat
