The debut of "Survivor: Guatemala" brought about 17.8 million viewers to CBS Thursday (Sept. 15), according to preliminary Nielsen numbers (final ratings weren't available Friday afternoon). That was by far the biggest audience of the night, but it was also the smallest for a "Survivor" premiere since the show's first edition, when it was an unknown quantity.
