I admit it.

Last night when I pulled into the parking structure they were there. Again. Cars parked by the valet in the handicap slots.

I called the bell captain and told him they could not legally park those cars there. He said the ramp was full and he had no choice.

So I got on the phone and left a voice mail to the director of Security. I was very terse and explained to him in small words (he's not that sharp, you know) that it was ILLEGAL for them to park there.

I've got the feeling I'm going to get a talking-to tomorrow.

1. Notify the police and let them handle it.
Simple as that.

2. Can't do that....
The guests didn't park the car, the valet did. But the guests will be the ones to get the ticket and I WILL get in trouble for it.

Though it's not like I haven't been in trouble before...<hehe>

3. I'm sure the cops could do SOMETHING
I mean, they would easily be able to recognize that it's a valet doing this. There has to be something they can do.

And I might be missing something, but why are you getting in trouble over this? You didn't do anything wrong.

4. Because I bitched...
Again.

I've been waging this battle ever since Paul got his handicap parking permit. Before I never really noticed how many cars were using handicap slots. Now it's the first thing I look for.

And though the cops could ticket cars out on the streets doing it they'd have a harder time justifying why they were in the parking structure giving tickets.
