(and it seems that I won't have to wait a year ;-) )
The media was terrible - wanted to hear from everyone that the one reason to listen to him is Anti-Americanism. Quite a few even went along for their 3 minutes on live TV. The Organisation was a mess to - I guess it's because his German publisher isn't used to stars: the location was way too small and the security-people weren't first grade.
Mike did not talk about America - not just that is. He told about his views on the European problems, the Old/New stuff etc. .Some of which were a little naïve, but who am I to complain…
The one point (well actually there were more, but that one was out of line IMHO) was, when he made fun of Denmark’s contribution to the war; I mean: a Danish soldier died - I don't think it OK to ridicule their effort. Ill-guided as it may be.
On the bright side: he did tell about being converted to soccer/football and that he would go to Austria next week and kick their Ass. (Job for Skittles? ) He wants them to pay for Arnold.
Other than that: he answered a question regarding his problems with Kucinich and why he might support a General (although he doesn't want to). He dodged the (sole) representative of the *IHOP crowd and the faith questions, as well as the entertainment vs. information issue.
Finally he got a lot of Kudos of keeping the signing session going until every book was signed - the publisher's guys tried to shut it down (with me being the first left over btw) and he made them (and himself) continue.
