A Week in the NH Woods (essay in pictures, dialup warning)
I spent Wednesday to WEednesday this past week dog-sitting for my mother in her little New Hampshire cabin in the woods.

The mornings would start misty:

...and the leaves were beginning to fall on the lake:

There was one sunny day before the rains came:

...and the colors were magnificent:

...especially as the sun set:

This was the room I spent most of my time in:

Luckily I had roommates. Gypsy on the left and Tinker on the right:

...plus the kitties. Mom is in front, sonny-boy in back:

Tinker enjoyed tormenting mom:

...while Gypsy and sonny-boy just wanted to sleep:

The waves on the lake were soothing:

Some friends came up to say hello:

...and then I came home. :)

1. That first picture rocks.
The rest are nice, too. But the first one is really well-done.

That part of the world looks really lovely. I've never been that far north and east.

2. Looks like it was relaxing
I wouldn't mind hanging out at a place like that for a week or two.

Was it hard to walk around that room with all the furniture and stuff so blurry? Or was your camera tipping a few drinks?

10. Wonderful Pictures William
thank you for sharing them, the puppy is all grown up, two beautiful dogs and two happy healthy cats with loving affection for one another! And your friends look like they have alot of fun spirit to hang out with. The cabin looks cozy with breathtaking views of the lake, the beautiful scenic surroundings make me homesick.

I have missed Raven, and you!

One of these days I will visit...
