My "troubled" son had a brilliant stroke of good luck..
He lives in the Seattle area, and last year he had lost his job AND his place to live.. He had a falling out with his boss, and since he was renting a place his boss owned, he was SOL.. He had to give up his precious dog (Lola), but managed to keep his cat..for a few weeks no one in the family even knew where or how he was..

Long story short..he patched things up with his boss, but could only get part-time work..he got a place on his own, but still could not retrieve his dog..(place was too small for a large dog, and by then she had bonded with the family he had caring for her)..

During his trauimas he had applied for jobs everywhere, and in the interim had started waiting tables to augment his parttime job..

Last week he got a call out of the blue from a large company he had applied at back then , and he was hired .. Full benefits, full time and starting out in the apprenticeship program at $13.57 an hour.. The kicker? His immediate boss graduated from MY high school 3 years ahead of me, and lived ONE BLOCK from me in my old hometown..

It IS a small world :)

1. Cool!
Good for him.

Sometimes things work the way they are supposed to work for a reason.
