'STROS FANS, CHECK IN HERE!!!!
'Stros now up 2-1 in the NLCS, I got my wish about Reggie Sanders, maybe he won't play tomorrow, either.
Hopefully, Nuñez wasn't hurt too badly on that collision at third base, but damn, what a great day...a nice effort by Clemens, Qualls, and Lidge!
And now we are up 2-1 in the NLCS, with Backe coming to the mound tomorrow.

could it be a White Sox versus 'Stros Series???

What an AWESOME year for me if it happens!!

J.R. Richard, we love you!!

Hey, Carlo$...how's the view from the couch????

1. I think the Astros are going to win.
The Cards are too banged up. Nunez is playing for a guy (Rolen) who is hurt. Sigh...if the Astros were playing anyone else, I'd be cheering for them.

:argh:

2. Yep
And now, Nuñez is hurt, too. Again, hopefully, not too seriously.

Just enough to keep him out of action for the Series. Wouldn't wanna see the guy's career in jeopardy or anything like that, just want the 'Stros way to be paved as smooth as possible.

Let's hope Busch Stadium has already seen it's last game!
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

3. Well...at least I'll be able to enjoy the World Series.
Last year's was too stressful.

I'm glad Busch is gone. Except for the arches around the rim, it was ugly. Bring on new Busch!

4. Oh, I Sure Hope So!!
Goddam, what a year for me...and what a Series for me...if the White Sox end up playing the 'Stros for the World Series!!
My two favorite teams in the whole world, up against each other, for the World Championship...and, in the same year, BOTH my favorite teams winning their first-ever "in my lifetime" pennants!!

Damn, I gotta root for a 'Stros-Sox Series, and for it to go ALL SEVEN GAMES!!

In the end, I have been a Sox fan longer, so my heart has to go with Chicago on that, but I would want it to go seven games...and a 'Stros victory like that would not exactly hurt my feelings, either!

Damn, what an incredible year, it looks like I may finally see one, or better yet, BOTH my favorite teams win their first ever pennants in my lifetime!!

Damn, I am so excited!!!

5. old time 'stros fan here.....
i've been a stros fan since joe neikro, cesar cedeno, jose cruz and j.r. richards were playing. this is sweeeeeet.....watching them get knocked out of the wildcards and second rounds for the past few years has been frustrating. i have a good feeling about this team...they came on strong after the all star game...they are building momentum...i think game 1 vrs. the cards was a fluke....
