WOW! According to a Ph.D certified IQ test my IQ is 138!
Why do I feel like I'm in that episode of King of the Hill where Peggy takes an IQ test over the internet and finds out she is a genius only to find out that every slack jawed moron who takes the test turns out to be a genius.

I already knew I was DAMN smart but for some reason I'm not buying it.

1. I'm always disappointed with my I.Q. test scores.
Mostly because I know that my test-anxiety factors into the height (or lack thereof) of said score. Never been able to get it up above 145. What I thought was nice about my last relationship? The guy was an ass, but when I said one test I'd taken had me at 135, he said, "that's crap; get a better evaluator--it has to be way higher than that."

2. Have you ever taken a legitimate IQ test to find out your real score?
All the ones I have ever taken are off the internet and I just figure they are bumping the score up 15 to 20 pts to sell me something.

If the average IQ is 100 I really doubt that I am a 138, I'm not that smart.

3. Yes. Several. And I've taken a few lengthy ones online.
The offline ones are always lower (text anxiety issues). Maybe you should just be happy with your score. Now, go join MENSA.

4. Ha Ha! Yeah, I'm only 2 points under Geena Davis.
Something tells me they wouldn't accept that test as a legitimate qualification.

5. I took one on-line, and it was the same score that I got when I...
took what was supposed to be an IQ test in childhood. I don't know whether this is good or bad. (Shouldn't I have gotten smarter?)

Actually, I was very impressed with the on-line test that I took. I can't remember the name of it.
