Rant: the vending machine ate my money AGAIN!

You know the way those vending machines turn the spiral around and your item shuffles to the front and drops off into the drawer? Except sometimes it gets caught and is left hanging there. That's what has happened to me.

Usually you can rectify things by just buying another one, which dislodges the first one as well, and keeping the spare for later. But I know this machine! What will probably happen is, the first item drops and the second one gets caught instead. I have even seen the second item get stuck as well while the first remains hanging there - leaving TWO freebies for someone with better luck than me to take.

I could simply stand there feeding money into the thing until I get everything I paid for, but I know my luck, and you have to draw the line somewhere! Plus I think I would get some funny looks carrying sixteen Kit-Kats back to my desk...

I am thus denied my post-lunch piece of confectionery. I dare say it's just providence looking after my waistline, right?

She puts the two kinds of M&Ms side by side. That means the corners of the bags stack in front of each other. So, If you want peanut M&Ms, it's virtually guaranteed the plain M&Ms bag is going to be in front of it, causing the peanut bag to get hung.

So of course, to keep them from haning up, I have to get BOTH KINDS!

Hilarious episode, I suggest at least giving it a vigorous shaking ( everybody does it - and if your boss sees this he might think to himself - now that one has some drive in him, I should promote him )
