I hate fall and winter.

It's cold this morning.

No sir, I don't like this one bit.

The leaves aren't changing colors... they're dying. Death is everywhere. It's getting darker earlier. Soon my hands and lips will be dry for six straight months. I'm going to get the flu. With my luck, I'll have to drive through the snow in a little over a month, increasing my chances of dying.

Give me back the green of spring! The blooming flowers, buzzing bees, new life, eggs, and all of that horseshit. Give me summer! The beach imagery, Jimmy Buffet songs, tacky Hawaiian shirts, monkeys throwing coconuts, and the whole tropical shebang.

If it wasn't for the warm fuzzy marketing of "the holidays," nobody would tolerate these miserable fucking six months out of the year.

I'll be happy if I never see another freakin snowflake ever.

Well, I guess spring's all right, but summer is horrendous. Give me rain and snow and fallen leaves anytime.

The two extremes are when my body seems to give out.

In that order. Though I have noticed that the leaves are just dying this year instead of turning colors. It was so dry all summer.

But I love snow! I can't wait.
